Filming and Photography

When signing up and attending one of our workshops, the parent/guardian is agreeing that their child can be filmed and photographed by the staff of Spirit YPC, with photos and footage being released to the company’s social media channels. This applies to both performance and behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage. Footage is released with the purpose of positive promotion for the performer and company. All intellectual property rights relating to all media in all formats remain the exclusive property of Spirit YPC. The choice and timing of all publication and distribution and any other usage made of all media remain at the sole discretion of Spirit YPC.

Faculty

I understand that teachers booked to teach on this course are working industry professionals. In the unlikely circumstance that a teacher has a last-minute performance schedule change, or falls ill, I understand that Spirit will have to change this teacher at late notice. In this unlikely instance, Spirit would replace the teacher with another industry professional.

Physical Activity

I understand that dance and theatre are physical activities that involve certain risks. I understand that the performer should be aware of their physical limitations and agree not to exceed them. I understand that the performer should seek professional medical advice in the event of ongoing/serious injury, and should not dance whilst injured.

Booking

I understand that payment is non-refundable, except in the unlikely circumstance that SpiritYPC/YDC changes or cancels the course. The availability of an advertised artist is not guaranteed. In the event of a substitution, this will not be considered a change to the course.
