CASTING INFORMATION
We are so excited to start working with you on Legally Blonde Junior on Monday 18th August! Before we step into the studio, we’re asking everyone to send in a quick video so we can allocate characters and get a head start.

It’s really simple and should only take a few minutes:
Step 1: Download the LYRICS
Step 2: SING-A-LONG with the track so you can learn the song
Step 3: When you are ready, record yourself singing to the BACKING TRACK
Step 4: Email or WhatsApp the video to us by Sunday 10th August at 10pm

Please take a look at the two character options below and choose the one you feel suits you best. We’re not expecting perfection, this is just to help us organise casting before our first session together.
Elle Woods
Female Presenting Casting
A fictional character created by Amanda Brown in her 2001 novel Legally Blonde. Elle is known for her bubbly character and considered by many as inspirational character and feminist icon. Requires a strong actor with comedic timing and strong vocal ability and higher range. Please be aware that we may choose to split this part between 2/3 actors to allow more opportunity.
Emmett Forrest
Male Presenting Casting
A fictional character created by Amanda Brown in her 2001 novel Legally Blonde. Emmett is a teaching assistant at Harvard Law School.
The part will require a strong actor who can handle and retain text as well as solo vocal work. Please be aware that we have the artistic licence to remove the love interest aspect from this storyline for the purpose of our work. This character can be cast and played by any act regardless of gender.
